Marillion will play Cardiff on September 9
LEGENDARY rock band Marillion have chosen Cardiff to kick off the UK leg of their world tour, on September 9.
Hailed as internet pioneers for their game-changing use of technology to unify and mobilise their global fan community, Marillion have been uncompromising with their music and vision. With their revolutionary pre-sale campaigns, in-house label and their own Racket Club recording studio, Marillion remain uniquely independent. The band are famous for classic hits during the 1980s including Kayleigh and Lavender.
Currently in the studio, creating their 17th studio album, Marillion – nowconsisting of Steve ‘H’ Hogarth on vocals, Mark Kelly on keyboards, Ian Mosley on drums, Steve Rothery on guitar and Pete Trewavas on bass – will feature newsongs and some old favourites in their set.
