Tinchy Stryder headlines Breakin' Out festival

TINCHY Stryder and Voice UK star Hannah Berney are among the top music names headlining the Breakin’ out Festival in Monmouthshire on September 8.Taking place in Bailey Park, Abergavenny, the festival will also feature Abyss Dance Crew, Skepta and the rapper Chip (AKA Chipmunk).

Breakin’ Out Festival is the brainchild of events organiser and local youth mentor Sharon Lewis. With a background in the club scene in London and invaluable experience having worked previously on the successful Abergavenny Food Festival, Sharon aims to make the festival available to around 5,000 people.

Festival goers will have the opportunity to meet and greet some of the artists, who will be available at the Q&A Hub, and also leave messages at the video diary room.

The festival, aimed at those aged 11+ through to their late teens, will also feature sports activities and free workshops for DJing, beatbox, street dance and much more.

Local bands will also show off their musical talents on the second stage and budding singers can sign up on the day to perform on the Open Mic Stage.

The day-long event will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display.
