Unknown pleasures on offer with Peter Hook

THERE’S a special treat in store for Joy Division and New Order fans when Peter Hook - co-owner of iconic Manchester nightclub The Hacienda and co-founder of those seminal bands - comes to South Wales this April.

Hook is back on the road recounting the rollercoaster tales of fun, success, lost money, confusion and true faith that encapsulated the notorious ‘Madchester’ scene.

In this new show - a spoken word, multi-media night based on his 2009 best selling book ‘The Hacienda: How Not to Run a Club’ - ‘Hooky’ promises fans a chance to hear it like it was; the real revelations and stories not allowed in the book.

It also offers a rare chance for the audience to dip under the surface with the bass legend in a question and answer session.

Hook comes to Cardiff Bay’s The Glee Club on Sunday, April 25, with doors open at 7.30pm. The compere for the evening is Howard Marks.

Admission is £15. Book on 0871 472 0400 or go to www.glee.co.uk
