MAYER mania has finally hit the UK - John Mayer mania that is.

Due to phenomenal demand, the American musician will now play four additional shows on top of his eagerly anticipated May 27 Wembley Arena show. One off those gigs will be at the Cardiff International Arena on Sunday, May 23.

A big name back in the States, Mayer has finished a short UK tour which garnered impressive reviews in the press.

"Mayer has got it all" said the London Evening Standard, while The Times wrote: "Mayer sang and played guitar with supreme skill and an unnerving confidence."

Mayer is back in the USA for an extensive run of shows before coming back to Europe in May for the second leg of his European tour.

Tickets are now on sale for the CIA concert, priced at £31, which includes a booking fee.
