DREAMBOATS and Petticoats The Musical is heading to the New Theatre, Cardiff, from Monday, February 13 to Saturday, February 18.

The musical is inspired by the multi-million selling albums, Dreamboats and Petticoats One, Two, Three, Four and Five.

Emotions run high in 1961 when young musicians Norman and Bobby compete to win both a national song writing competition and, more importantly, the attention of Sue. But love and rock ‘n’ roll fame beckons when Bobby discovers that shy Laura is no slouch on the piano.

The first five albums in the Dreamboats series sold more than two million copies and spent several weeks at the number one spot in the compilation charts, making it a success and leading to what would then become this popular musical.

Dreamboats and Petticoats is a West End favourite and features well-known songs of the Rock ‘n’ Roll era, from the likes of Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury and many more.

Songs in the show include Let’s Dance, To Know Him is to Love Him, Shaking All Over, Bobby’s Girl, Little Town Flirt, Only Sixteen, Runaround Sue, Happy Birthday Sweet 16, Let It Be Me, Great Pretender, C’Mon Everybody and many more.

Tickets cost from £9 to £32, please note bookings are subject to a ticketing service charge - exemptions apply.
