COMIC Relief has announced it will introduce a line-up of fresh British talent to support this year's Red Nose Day fundraising campaign.

A series of unique comedy gigs will be held across the country, with one in Cardiff hosted by comedian Elis James.

Elis James will host Cardiff's Comic Relief Live which will see new talent take the stage at The Glee Club.

Comedians including Dane Baptiste, Ivo Graham, Lou Sanders, Mike Bubbins, Matt Rees and Sarah Callaghan will entertain audiences on Thursday, February 9.

Elis James said: “It will be an honour to host Comic Relief Live in Cardiff.

"I can’t wait to share the stage with the best up and coming comedians on the circuit at the moment.

“Comic Relief Live offers a great opportunity for the audience here in Cardiff to not only witness fresh comedy talent, it will also allow everyone involved the chance to say they’ve supported this year’s Red Nose Day by helping to raise money and make a difference to people living tough lives here in the UK and across Africa.”

Tickets for the event will cost £15 or £13.50 for concession with 100 per cent of the show price being donated to Comic Relief.

Tickets can be bought via glee.co.uk and further information can be found on rednoseday.com/comedy
