T42 will hold their Christmas Special afternoon performances at Newport’s Dolman Theatre in early December.
Now in their fourteenth year, T42 (Tea for Two) were initially formed for an age group who no longer enjoyed the local nightlife scene but missed the entertainment. The group continues to meet on the first Tuesday of every month in the open bar/coffee area of The Dolman Theatre from October to May.
As part of T42’s annual programme they will be holding their Christmas Special performances on December 4 and 5 at 7.15pm as well as an afternoon performance on December 6 at 2pm.
Featured at the performances will be the New Harmony Singers led by Pam Guy on the Sunday and Monday, and The Newport U3A choir led by Stephen Berry on the Tuesday while Newport Playgoers and Tea for Two members will take the roles of readers and story tellers. There will also be a free glass of hot mulled wine at the start and mince pies in the interval.
Tickets for the T42 Christmas performances are £8.00 Sunday and Monday and £7 on the Tuesday afternoon. Contact 01633 667366 for ticket details.
