Newport Operatic Society are soon to present a musical version of Lewis Carroll’s Alice through the Looking Glass on the stage of The Dolman Theatre.

The musical follows on from the Operatic Society’s presentation of Sunset Boulevard and is set to entertain all the family as Alice plays her way across the chessboard of Wonderland with the help of her friends to free the Red King from the nightmares forced upon him by the despicable Red Queen.

On Alice’s journey she will meet some fantastical characters such as talking insects, a girl made of paper, a talking goat and many more. Of course she will also meet the more sinister creatures of wonderland such as Humpty Dumpty, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and the monster of nightmares, The Red Queen’s pet, The Jabberwock.

Alice Through The Looking Glass runs at The Dolman Theatre from November 23 to 26. Visit dolmantheatre.co.uk call in at the box office for ticket details.
