CONCEPT Players will head to the Paget Rooms, Penarth, with their new production of Neil Simon's Rumours.

After the success of Little Me and the multi-award winning Blithe Spirit the theatre company are back with Rumours.

This humourous play is from the pen of American comedic writer, Neil Simon who has received more combined Oscar and Tony nominations than any other writer.

His works have included Barefoot in the Park, The Odd Couple, The Sunshine Boys, Biloxi Blues, Plaza Suite, Sweet Charity, Little Me, The Goodbye Girl and California Suite. Stars such as Michael Caine, Jane Fonda and Maggie Smith (who won an Oscar for her portrayal of a diva in California Suite) have all performed Neil Simon’s work.

A gun has been fired at the home of a prominent British cabinet minister just as his friends gather to celebrate his tenth wedding anniversary. Chaos ensues when well-meaning friends try to come up with suitable explanation as the other guests arrive and that is all before the police get there.

Concept Players innovative productions have recently earned them awards from the Glamorgan Drama League and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.

Rumours opens at the Paget Rooms, Penarth on Thursday, September 15, at 7.30pm, with doors open at 7pm and runs until Saturday, September 17.

Tickets are now on sale priced at £12 and are available from www.concept-players.com, or via the Concept box office 029 2049 0019.
