DYFFRYN Gardens will host family friendly activities throughout the summer.

Every Monday and Wednesday your family can take part in a craft activity as part of Make it Mondays or you can tick off a 50 things activity as part of the 50 things Wednesdays. Get creative and make your dream paper garden, create a boat to sail on the central canal or cook some marshmallows on the campfire. There is no need to book and all activities are free but normal admission prices do apply.

But that’s not all, every day of the week you can meet the two Oxford and black sandy pigs, see some cool cacti in the glass house and smell tropical bananas and carnivorous plants in the orchid house.

The garden rooms make for the biggest game of hide and seek you could play with lots of lawn games.

Other things on the summer activity to do list include having a go at croquet, seeing the pigs being fed and hunting for newts in the pond.
