THE next Enfys Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, July 2 at St Francis Millennium Hall, Park Road, Barry.

The fair has no entry fee and will be open from 10am until 4pm.

After next month's fair it will take a short break in August then will return on September 3 – feeling refreshed and ready to go for the months leading to Christmas.

Enfys Craft Fair has a variety of crafts on show each month. There is always something new to catch your attention or whet your appetite.

The charity raffle this month will be raising money for the local branch of the RNLI, Royal National Lifeboat Institute.

The RNLI is a charity that saves lives at sea around the coasts of Great Britain, Ireland, the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man. This charity was formed in 1824 and originally called the National Institute for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck.

It had royal patronage from George IV thus giving the prefix royal. The current name was given by Queen Victoria in 1854. Since 1824 the lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved more than 140,000 lives.

The crews and lifeguards of the RNLI are all volunteers like many other lifesaving charities.

Many visitors come along especially to savour the food from Ann’s kitchen. She will be ready with her delicious refreshments and drinks for your enjoyment.

You will receive a very warm welcome at Enfys Craft Fair.
