MOLOTOV Jukebox has announced details of their second album plus their spring tour dates.

The band will return with their much-anticipated second album Tropical Gypsy which will be released on April 15. Shortly after the release the band will perform at The Globe, Cardiff on April 24.

The album displays a truly riotous whirlwind of Latino influenced horns, accordion and violin; all tightly bound together over guitar, bass and drums by the infectious vocals of musician and actress, Natalia Tena.

Incorporating newly found sounds collected first hand on a South American tour last year, the band have added flavours of samba, fohó and cumbia to their existing Balkan influences.

Famed for their ferocious performances around the globe in both English and Spanish, none of the band’s undeniable live energy has been allowed to escape during recording.

To celebrate the release of their astounding record, Molotov Jukebox will be taking their music on the road.

The band are Natalia Tena – lead vocals/accordion, Sam Apley – vocals/violin, Adam Burke – guitar, Tom Wilson – bass, Angus Moncrieff – trumpet and Rami Sherrington - drums

Speaking about Tropical Gypsy, Natalia Tena, says "We've made this album with a lot of passion and pulse, whilst using every artistic bone in our bodies to develop and focus our style and sound from the past album. We are incredibly grateful to be able to do the thing we love for our fans that understand what our music is about and where we are going with it. Get your dancing shoes ready!"
