JODIE Prenger is returning to Cardiff to perform in Tell Me on a Sunday at the New Theatre from Tuesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 9.

After her critically acclaimed performance in 2014’s Calamity Jane, Jodie Prenger returns in Tell Me on a Sunday - Andrew Lloyd Webber's and Don Black’s classic musical.

Set in the heady days of 1980s New York, the show charts the romantic misadventures of a young English girl. Initially full of optimism and a desire to succeed, a string of heartaches leave her wondering if she’s been looking for love in all the wrong places.

Originally conceived for television, Tell Me on a Sunday has been performed by legendary stars including Marti Webb and Sarah Brightman. This new production will also include an intimate chat with Jodie Prenger about life, love and playing the role of Emma.

Jodie is best known for winning the role of Nancy in the West End production of Oliver! through the BBC series I’d Do Anything, a role that gave her critical and public acclaim.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has composed legendary musicals including Cats, Evita, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and Phantom of the Opera. Don Black is an Oscar-winning lyricist for Born Free and has penned many James Bond theme tunes.

Tickets cost from £10 to £27 (bookings are subject to a Ticketing Service Charge - exemptions apply). For further details about the show or to book tickets visit newtheatrecardiff.co.uk or call the Box Office on 029 2087 8889.
