WILLE and the Bandits are heading to Cardiff in February as part of their Europe wide tour.

Wille and the Bandits are hitting the ground running in 2016 with three months on the road. This is typical of a band who love playing live and the touring lifestyle.

The band have an unrelenting ambition to get their music heard ever more widely and to push the boundaries of their sound to ever greater heights. These are not the usual fame seekers that litter the music scene, they take their musicianship seriously, capturing the imagination and interest of music lovers right across the globe, earning themselves a fierce reputation as one of the best live acts around.

They can reflect on a job well done in 2015 which saw them playing numerous high profile European festivals, selling out The Borderline in London and an appearance on Rock Palast; the German TV equivalent of Later With Jools Holland.

"It's the most famous music show in Europe, called Rock Palast, and it really helped raise our profile on the continent," says Wille,

"Then back home we sold out The Borderline, which we're really stoked about. It's one thing to sell out a local show but to do it in the capital is really great" he continued.

Wille and the Bandits are made up of three hugely talented musicians - Wille Edwards is the singer, songwriter and guitarist who favours the slide guitar and has received his own signature weissenborn from Anderwood Guitars which will make its debut appearance on this tour. Matt Brooks is a real virtuoso on the bass and adds a class and polish rarely seen in a rock act, while drummer Andy Nauman plays drums and percussion simultaneously with real power and energy.

You really get something special at a Wille and the Bandits gig.

There are tracks that feel like you have been transported to the 70s, perhaps a nod to Status Quo and Deep Purple who they have toured with, while others take you on an epic journey and 10 minutes later you realise that you have been completely mesmerised. For music lovers and those who fancy a great night out make sure you don’t miss an opportunity to see this hugely accomplished trio perform.

Wille and the Bandits will perform at the Moon Club, Cardiff on February 19.
