ONE of stage and screen's all time classic thrillers is coming to the New Theatre, Cardiff from Tuesday, February 2 to Saturday, February 6.

After decade-long success with a series of Agatha Christie stage adaptations, Bill Kenwright presents a star-studded production of Rehearsal for Murder from newly-named Classic Thriller Theatre Company.

Playwright Alex Dennison is left heartbroken when his fiancée and leading lady Monica Welles is found dead from an apparent suicide. On the anniversary of that ill-fated night, he reassembles the same cast and crew for a reading of his new play.

It quickly becomes clear, however, that Alex thinks Monica was murdered and intends to uncover the killer.

Rehearsal for Murder boasts an excellent cast made up of stage and screen stars.

Leading the cast are Robert Daws (The Royal, Outside Edge) and his wife Amy Robbins (The Royal, Blood Brothers).

Returning members of the Agatha Christie Theatre Company are Robert Duncan (Drop the Dead Donkey), Susan Penhaligon (Bouquet of Barbed Wire) and Ben Nealon (Soldier Soldier). Rounding off the ensemble are Steven Pinder (Brookside) and Lucy Dixon (Waterloo Road).

The murder mystery is written by Richard Levinson and William Link, the award-winning team behind classic television series Murder, She Wrote and Columbo.

The Agatha Christie Company enjoyed phenomenal success, selling over two million tickets and playing to packed houses across the UK.

They will look for similar success as the company rebrands itself.

Tickets for the show cost from £10 to £31.50 and are subject to a Ticketing Service Charge (exemptions apply).
