MULTI-AWARD winning blockbuster musical, Blood Brothers returns, to the New Theatre, Cardiff this September.

Willy Russell's legendary musical returns from Monday, September 28 to Saturday, October 10.

Playing The Narrator will be West End star and multi-platinum selling artist Marti Pellow, while Maureen Nolan reprises her critically acclaimed role as Mrs Johnstone in the smash hit show.

Blood Brothers is the emotional story of twins who are separated at birth and grow up on opposite sides of the track. Their paths meet again when they’re older, with life-changing consequences. The production is as famous for its music as for its story, with superb songs such as Bright New Day, Tell Me It’s Not True and Marilyn Monroe.

Marti Pellow makes his return to Cardiff after delighting audiences in Evita last year and is one of the UK’s most acclaimed leading men in musical theatre; not to mention his global success as a solo artist and lead singer of Wet Wet Wet. Maureen Nolan is the fourth of the Nolan Sisters to play Mrs Johnstone, a role she retains after acclaimed performances in the West End.

Blood Brothers is one of only three musicals to have surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, winning multiple awards in the process. It has also enjoyed great success in Cardiff, having been a regular favourite of New Theatre audiences over the last two decades.

Tickets cost from £12 to £35 (bookings are subject to a Ticketing Service Charge, exemptions apply).
