HUNDREDS of women will gather together when the Christian women’s group Lavish holds its annual Ladies Day with a meeting in Cardiff.

Lavish was started in the Neath Valley four years ago when two wives of local church leaders had a vision to create an environment where women from all, if any, church backgrounds could share their experiences of faith in the context of worship and prayer.

Since then, Lavish has also established regular meetings in Cardiff, Pontypridd and Greater Bargoed.

All are invited to the annual ladies day which is to be held at Glenwood Church Cardiff on September 5.

The speaker will be Trudy Makepeace, who is a minister in training with Elim Churches. The worship will be supplied by an all female Sound of Wales group and British Sign Language interpreters will be present. The event is open for registration from 10am and entry costs £5.
