TONY Curtis is inviting members of the public to join him on one of his Poetry Walks which he offers at the National Trust's Dyffryn Gardens.

The next one is on Friday, August 28, and then on Friday, September 11, both starting at 2pm.

The charge is normal entry to the Gardens and the walk should last about an hour and a quarter.

This is part of his role as the poet in residence at Dyffryn and during this year he is writing poems in response to the astounding gardens as well as the history of the house and gardens. Some of the poems are already appearing on the Dyffryn Gardens website.

Places are limited so you will have to book through the NT office 02920 590813 - usual office hours.
