DYFFRYN Gardens is celebrating the completion of their restoration project and the public can watch it take shape by viewing a time lapse video of the project.

Three of the garden rooms were selected to be restored this year and work has completed with astounding success.

The project set out to dramatically restore the garden rooms by repairing the stone work and reintroducing statues, pots urns and the original planting schemes. The work has been many months in progress and involved many in-house experts.

Over the past six months gardeners, researchers, conservators and volunteers have been working hard to meet the deadline. Countless hours have been dedicated to returning the rooms to their original splendour and they are now opened to the public.
