WALES Millennium Centre will draw its tenth anniversary to a close with performances by Bryn Terfel and Broadway to the Bay.

Broadway to the Bay will be performed from October 23-25 and Bryn Terfel will perform in a concert performance of Tosca on November 2.

In Broadway to the Bay star performers including Kerry Ellis (Wicked), Ruthie Henshall (Chicago) and John Owen-Jones (Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera) will reprise their best-known roles performing a hand-picked selection of West End and Broadway favourites, from popular classics like Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story 'to those of a more modern nature such as such as Hairspray and Mamma Mia.

Caroline Sheen, Rhydian Roberts, Russell Grant, Tenors of Rock, Lucie Jones, Sophie Evans, Madalena Alberto and Michael Xavier' will also feature in the all-star line-up, accompanied by the 38-piece Novello Orchestra and an ensemble of singers and dancers.

Broadway to the Bay is the brain child of Creative Directors John Owen-Jones and David Mahoney.

Then in November Bryn Terfel will celebrate his 50th birthday at Wales Millennium Centre and will perform Puccini’s passionate and dramatic opera, Tosca, with some of the world’s leading singers and the award-winning Welsh National Opera

Bryn Terfel recreates the role of Scarpia, whilst Ainhoa Arteta takes the title role of Floria Tosca and Teodor Ilinc?i is the ill-fated artist Cavaradossi.

Wales Millennium Centre is delighted to present Welsh National Opera in this concert performance which brings this most beautiful operatic score to life with the exquisite melodies and exhilarating orchestration that has made it one of the world’s best loved operas.
