GLAMORGAN Archives will be holding an event about Voices from the Factory Floor on Wednesday, July 1.

The event will start at 2.30pm where you'll be able to find out more about the experiences of women working in the manufacturing industries in Wales between 1945-1975.

Catrin Edwards, WAW project officer for South East Wales, will introduce the project and the film produced as part of the activities.

Meet some of the women from south east Wales who took part in the project and listen to them recount their own experiences of life on the factory floor.

Documents from the Collection at Glamorgan Archives which relate to women's work within the manufacturing industry in Glamorgan will be available to view following the event.
