JAH Wobble will bring his Invaders of the Heart on tour to The Globe, Cardiff on July 24.

During the tour, Jah Wobble celebrates 36 years in music with an ambitious career-spanning six-CD box set entitled 'ReDux', and the release of brand new single ‘Merry Go Round’. To launch this release he will be touring with his acclaimed group Invaders of the Heart for the first time in 20 years.

Bass player, singer, composer, poet, and one-time London Tube driver, over a 36-year career in music John Wardle AKA Jah Wobble has carved a reputation as “a true maverick” (The Guardian), “wildly eclectic” (Uncut), and one of the finest musicians the UK has ever produced.

One of his most critically lauded projects was Jah Wobble's Invaders of the Heart, who released their debut album Without Judgement in 1990, following it up with the Mercury Music Prize-nominated Rising Above Bedlam in 1991. After the acclaimed Take me to God album in 1994 the band stopped playing live, though four more studio albums followed on Jah Wobble’s newly-launched record label 30 Hertz, a label that has subsequently released 30 plus albums, and is now part of the Cherry Red Records family.
