SULLY-BASED charity Ty Hafan family hospice is encouraging women to dig their favourite onesies out of the closet for its annual night-time walk.

Hundreds of women will don their favourite onesies to support life-limited children and their families from across Wales.

Places are still available for T? Hafan’s Wales Onesie Walk, taking place in Cardiff city centre on Friday, June 26.

The walk starting and finishes at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium,

Walkers will take part in a 5km or a 10km stroll after live entertainment from the Rock Choir, special appearances from Captain Jack Sparrow and Anna Ryder Richardson, face painters, theatrical makeovers, sports demonstrations and much more.

The event, sponsored by Cardiff’s Walkabout – the official venue of the Wales Onesie Walk after-party – is T? Hafan’s fifth night-time walk.

T? Hafan’s marketing and events officer, Emily Fradd said: “T? Hafan cares for many children throughout Wales who have been born with a life-limiting condition – such conditions can require round-the-clock care. We are asking ladies to give up one night so they can support parents who rarely get a good night’s sleep.”

The Wales Onesie Walk is a women-only event starting at 10pm.

T? Hafan needs male marshals to provide a clear and safe route for the women taking part.

Emily added: “It’s a magical night-time walk, with the camaraderie between the hundreds of women taking part, creating a wonderful atmosphere. As well as the walk, there will be pamper sessions, music, games and prizes before the event, and the usual glow packs and giveaways on offer.”

Entry is £10 per person and each walker is asked to raise £50 in sponsorship.
