THE venues hosting the Vale Jazz Festival have been announced by the organisers.
There will be 12 Barry venues accommodating the first festival this June and include Barry Athletic Club, The Borough Arms, The Ship Inn, Barry Island Amphitheatre, Coffee Cove, Marco’s, Wyndham Cons, The Park, The West End, Costa Coffee and Barry Island Sports and Social.
There is also a Jazz Church service planned at 12.30pm at St Mary’s Church on Sunday, June 21, where a professional jazz harpist and singer will be in attendance.
During the weekend there will be the Barry At War event which includes a fly past by the Red Arrows on Saturday, June 20.
The final line-up of acts due to appear will be announced in the next couple of weeks. All performances are free.
