NEW member to Penarth Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS), Jeff Heenan Davies will play the role of Mr Perks in the upcoming production of The Railway Children.
Mr Davies lives in the Rhoose area and is a well known local actor having played a variety of roles with various companies such as The Phoenix Players and Everyman Theatre Group, Cardiff.
Mr Perks, who is a trained journalist and a self employed writer and publication designer, has his work cut out managing his six Perks children and the three Railway children but he brings his own style of cheekiness and sensitivity to the role.
The show will be performed at The Paget Rooms, Penarth from March 25 to 27.
