THE Watoto Children’s Choir will bring their Oh, What Love tour to Barry on Tuesday, March 24.

Prepare for a new sound by a family of orphans with their production which features vibrant, rhythms of Africa, urban sound with the children taking you on an emotional journey from utter despair to joyous celebrations as they share their stories.

Since 1994, Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled all over the world sharing the plight of Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable. Each of the children in the choir has suffered the loss of one or both of their parents but they have been rescued and now live in a Watoto village in Uganda.

“The production is indicative of emerging, modern Africa - a continent coming out of ruin and exploring its true identity. Africa is coming of age and so are her people. Her children and young adults are the key to the future.

“Through their unique personalities, the children now communicate and share the sense of belonging they found in God their father,” says James Skinner, creative director for Watoto Children’s Choir

The concert will be held at Coastlands Family Church, Tennyson Road at 7pm. It is completely free with a love offering during the performance to raise money for their continuing work. The concert is suitable for all ages.
