Soft Control is the debut album from Laura Welsh, released on January 19 and includes the acclaimed singles Break The Fall, Cold Front, and Undiscovered, plus new single Ghosts.

Laura Welsh is a modern pop force with an irresistible voice, who makes captivating, confessional songs which share the unguarded abandon of Florence and The Machine and Adele. Singer, writer, and producer - she co-produced the album tracks Call To Arms and Hollow Drum - Welsh is very modern kind of pop artist. Earlier this year she scored at Top 10 hit as the co-writer and vocalist on Gorgon City’s massive summer anthem Here For You.

On Soft Control the Staffordshire-born singer-songwriter worked with an eclectic bunch of co-stars, collaborating with indie polymath Dev Hynes, Robin Hannibal from R&B minimalists Rhye, Jonathan Lipsey (Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse) on Ghosts, Greg Kurstin (The Shins, Beck, Lily Allen), Emile Haynie (Lana Del Ray, Kanye West), Scissor Sisters’ Babydaddy and Amanda Ghost. The album also includes an incredible duet with John Legend, Hardest Part.
