ST David’s Hall will be celebrating the work of John Barry, the legendary English composer on Friday, December 12.

Impeccably performed by the acclaimed Welsh National Opera Orchestra, the concert will feature some of Barry’s most-loved pieces including Zulu, Born Free, Midnight Cowboy, Dances with Wolves and The Persuaders.

Most famously, Barry is remembered for his 11 soundtracks of the James Bond films, and you’re guaranteed to hear many from Goldfinger to Thunderball, and You Only Live Twice to Diamonds Are Forever. Undoubtedly, a major highlight of the night will be We Have All the Time in the World, which the great Louis Armstrong sang for the theme to On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Plus, all the memorable moments from the movies are guaranteed to come flooding back when experiencing the epic 007 theme.

Conducted by the acclaimed Nicholas Dodd and narrated by Classic FM broadcaster Tim Lihoreau, this show is a must for film fans and music lovers.
