BARRY Beavers will be holding a Christmas party and disco at the Cadoxton Conservative Club on December 13.

The event is open to all ages and is from 7.30pm until late. Tickets cost £3.50 and include a buffet. The disco will be run by K L Parties and a bar is available.

Barry Spiritualist Church and Centre, Buttrills Road is holding a divine service on Sunday, December 14 at 6pm with Yvonne Challen.

Monday, December 15 at 7pm is open circle.

Spiritualist healing is available Thursday at 2pm-3.30pm and 6.30pm-7.30pm.

The Barnardo’s Committee, Barry, are having a coffee, carols and mince pie morning on Saturday, December 20. Come along to All Saints Church Hall, Park Road, Barry from 10.30am until noon.

The Whitmore Bay voluntary lifeguards will be holding their annual Boxing Day swim on December 26 with them meeting in front of the lifeguard station, Western Shelter, Paget Road, Barry Island.

They will be preparing at 11.30am for their swim at noon.

Bear’s Den has just announced that they will be performing at Clwb Ifor Bach on Sunday, February 15 2015.

This year they will release their new single Above The Clouds of Pompeii and their much anticipated debut album Islands.
