BARRY Leisure Centre, Greenwood Street is hosting the next Toy and Train sale on Sunday, November 30 between 10.30am and 3pm.

This is the third event of this type at this brilliant venue in 2014 but collectors may rest assured that three dates at this venue are already book for 2015 in February, September and late November. The incremental show will take place again at Barry Island Station on Sunday, August 2.

The sister event, the Cardiff Toy and Train sale, will be taking place at Penarth Leisure Centre on a three monthly basis with the next show on January 10 2015 with four dates already booked for next year.

For the event there is plenty of car parking with the Civic Centre being next door and all of their parking is also available free of charge.

Rita Limbrick from Barry will be running her excellent cafe within the fair by kind permission of the management company, Parkwood Community Leisure and will be offering her usual varied and appealing bill of fare at very reasonable prices and with net profits going to local charities.

Organiser Chris Dyer said this week, “Barry attracts a great range of traders from both sides of the Severn Bridge and a wonderful array of stock is always available from all the big names such as Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox, EFE, Tri-ang, Hornby, Lima, Wrenn, Bachmann etc. In the current economic climate, prices have never been keener and it is an ideal time to build up collections at budget prices. Traders are also very keen to buy and to exchange so do bring along your surplus items”. This Barry show is already almost fully-booked with traders and “house full” is expected by the day of the sale.
