NEW Theatre, Cardiff has announced nine new shows coming next year, with the first show of the nine beginning in March.

Clwyd Theatr Cymru returns to the theatre with their exciting new production of Hamlet from Tuesday, March 10 to Saturday, March 14. This innovative and imaginative show breathes new life into one of Shakespeare’s best known plays.

Saturday Night Fever explodes onto the stage from Tuesday, March 31 until Saturday, April 4.

The role made famous by John Travolta is set in 1976 Brooklyn, New York where Tony Manero has only one ambition in life and that’s to become the disco king.

This brand new production, of one of the most loved dance stories of all time, is packed with legendary hits from the Bee Gees.

Children’s television favourites Ben and Holly come to Cardiff in their very own stage show from Wednesday, April 8 to Thursday 9. Children will love joining in with the fun-loving duo and their friends in an enchanting and magical musical adventure that’s full of games, song and laughter.

An inspiring evening that has been attracting sold out audiences across the globe is The Banff Mountain Film Festival which comes to Cardiff for the first time on Friday, April 10.

Featuring extraordinary short films from the world’s leading adventure film makers means this is a must see for anyone with a spirit of adventure.

The Olivier Award winning rock spectacular Return to the Forbidden Planet is blasting on to stage from Monday, April 20 to Saturday 25. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary this exciting show is packed with rock ‘n’ roll classics.

The Cornely Polytechnic Drama Society are back and this time they are attempting to stage J M Barrie’s much loved classic. Peter Pan Goes Wrong from Tuesday, April 28 until Saturday, May 2 is a brilliant new comedy where everything that can go wrong…does.

For 25 years The Woman in Black has been scaring the pants off West End theatregoers and has done the same on its visits to Cardiff. The chilling legacy returns from Tuesday, May 5 until Saturday 9 and is just as unsettling as ever.

Audiences will love an evening of raucous comedy with the West End hit Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense. This hilarious production layers joy on joy, joke on joke, in a delightful evening of theatrical absurdity featuring P.G. Wodehouse’s finest characters. The show runs from Tuesday, June 9 until Saturday 13.

Jonathan Harvey’s urban love story Beautiful Thing comes to the New Theatre from Tuesday, July 14 until Saturday 18. This modern comedy follows the blossoming romance of two teenage boys set on an inner city housing estate. Full of laughs, warmth and the music of Mama Cass, this heart-warming drama captures what it is to be a teenager and to fall in love.
