THE Glamorgan and Gwent Branch of the Manchester United Supporters Club will be hosting a special festive event this Christmas.

On Saturday, December 6 there will be ‘An Evening with United Legend Norman Whiteside’ at the Staff Club, County Hall, Cardiff.

Whiteside famously scored the dramatic winner in extra time in the 1985 FA Cup Final and became the youngest player to participate in the World Cup Finals (with Northern Ireland).

Norman will re-live some of his most memorable moments from his football career and will take questions from the audience.

In addition there will be a United quiz, raffle, signings/photos with Norman, auction of signed United shirts and other memorabilia and a buffet.

Tickets cost £25 and are available by calling 07908 146662, group bookings for table seating are also available upon request.

There will be donations made to both Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice and Holme Tower Marie Curie Hospice from the funds raised.

Any United supporters wanting tickets and travel to United games can join the supporters branch by calling 07908 146662.
