THE Shared Reading Group is back from their recent break with a meeting on Friday, October 31 from 1pm until 2.15pm at Barry Library.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Shared Reading session.
At the meeting there is the chance to read a wide variety of literature from popular novel extracts to classic short stories.
Work by Anton Chekhov, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Erich Maria Remarque, Jane Austen and Roald Dahl have been read and topics such as “why do horrible things happen to nice people?”, “be careful what you wish for” and “why is it sometimes okay to be economical with the truth?” have been discussed.
It’s a great, relaxing way to end a busy week and make new friends.
