STEVE Cropper and The Animals will perform at The Globe, Cardiff on Wednesday, October 29.
This will be one of the most high profile shows this year at The Globe and features the legendary Steve Cropper.
He is the founding member of both Booker T & The MG’s and The Mar-Keys and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is one of the most upheld guitarist of all time.
He co-wrote classics like Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay, Knock On Wood, and In The Midnight Hour, and has contributed to albums by Paul Simon, Ringo Starr and Buddy Guy, to name but a few. He has worked alongside almost every notable music giant - Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder - the list goes on and on.
His famed incarnation with The Animals generated, amongst many other hits, a US number one with the seminal House Of The Rising Sun.
Expect this and countless more classics as Steve Cropper and The Animals drop by The Globe for the only Welsh date on their autumn tour.
