THIS half term grab your most colourful wellies and head to Dyffryn Gardens to explore the grounds.

There will be 10 multi-coloured wellies hidden all over the gardens and house; if you can find them all including the mysterious golden welly you will be in with winning an exciting prize.

Make it Mondays and 50 things Wednesdays are back too with making autumn leaf crowns on Monday and building your own bird box on Wednesday between 12 and 3pm.

Squelch your way through the muddy arboretum trail and see the gorgeous colours of autumn, collect conkers to battle your friends and spot squirrels foraging for nuts ready for the winter.

On October 31 come along after dark for a fun filled Halloween disco in the house. The Halloween family party will have ghost stories, games and activities as well as pumpkin carving. Make sure you wear your spookiest outfit and win a prize if you’re the best dressed.

The half term activities start on October 25 and end on November 2 and the gardens will be open every day from 10am until 5pm and the house is open from noon until 4.
