First Aid Kit will bring their brand of country influenced harmonies to St David’s Hall in January 2015 following an incredible sold-out autumn tour.

This year has been the busiest yet for the Swedish folk duo, who are now receiving widespread critical acclaim after initially breaking through as a word-of-mouth success on the internet.

The Söderberg sisters first gained a cult following on MySpace in 2007 before their cover of the Fleet Foxes’ Tiger Mountain Peasant Song on YouTube spread their name rapidly across social media. Endorsements soon followed from the White Stripes’ Jack White and Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes, which catapulted the girls to global recognition.

Their third album Stay Gold was released in June accompanied by a sell-out UK tour. This year the band have also supported Ryan Adams, headlined a show at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the iTunes Festival and appeared recently on Later…with Jools Holland.

In 2014, First Aid Kit became one of the most hotly talked about bands around with demand sky-rocketing through the roof. Next year promises to be even better. Don’t miss them at their peak!
