PINK Martini and The von Trapps make their Welsh premiere at Wales Millennium Centre.

Pink Martini, a 12-piece band known worldwide for their trademark mix of pop songs from all corners of the globe, will come for a one night only performance on Tuesday, October 28.

Pink Martini will be supported by singing group The von Trapps, the great-grandchildren of Maria and Georg von Trapp, who inspired the timeless musical, The Sound of Music.

Somewhere between a 1930s Cuban dance orchestra, a classical chamber music ensemble and a Brazilian marching street band, Pink Martini have wowed audiences with their eclectic sets and high energy performances. Part language lesson and part Hollywood musical, Pink Martini is known for performing their multilingual repertoire with symphony orchestras around the world. For their Cardiff concert, Pink Martini will be joined by The Novello Orchestra, conducted by Only Men Aloud's David Mahoney.

Pink Martini will also be supported by singing group, The von Trapps; direct descendants of the von Trapp family that inspired Rodgers and Hammerstein’s much loved musical, The Sound of Music. Sofi, Melanie, Amanda and August von Trapp continue to uphold their famous family’s musical legacy by singing to packed houses across the globe.

Tickets to see Pink Martini with special guests The von Trapps and The Novello Orchestra cost £28.50 and there is an age guidance of 12 plus.
