Nativity play

FOR years we attended the nativity in St Mary"s Church which was a joy at Christmas.

Two years ago there was no nativity and no carols so we decided to go to another church - it was the same there, what is going on?

In the schools they are taking the children to the pantomime instead of nativity plays.

The Colcot even did Mary Poppins - what that has to do with the birth of Christ I don"t know.

Why have we to abandon our traditions whilst we are not allowed to dictate to other religions on dress or culture?
