Tree trouble

DOES anyone in the council have any sense? To plant ten trees, ten foot apart to grow 30-foot plus is sheer stupidity.

Mr Withers explained to me that this is how they work and that later on half will be felled to make room for further growth of remaining trees.

Of course the roots will not affect the footpath in Buttrills Park along which they planted.

The trees already established in this area cause damage to property as they are planted to close to boundaries of property but the council are not at all disturbed by this.

Its answer is to plant even more. This is a park not a would be forest.

It is about time our Council Tax was used to provide services that matter, not the nonsense I have witnessed.
