Mariner are the champions - for the third year running

MASTER MARINER 2

ADMIRAL 1

Master Mariner picked up the Barry Cup for the third year running, despite falling behind to a goal from an Admiral corner.

Mariner hit back with a goal from Carl Hellerman and in the second half they stepped up the pace.

After some neat passing, Greg Williams smashed the ball passed the Admiral keeper.

Antony Pine was the Mariner hero with his second penalty save in two days, to earn the Man of the Match award.

Admiral never looked like getting a second goal and dug their own hole in the Master Mariner graveyard.

The management would like to thank all those who came down and gave their support and also the staff at the Mariner for a lovely spread. The match ball was sponsored by Paul Lewis Plastering Services.

MINI MARINER

Mini Mariner travelled to Rhoose and played their best football of the season with solid performances by all players. Man of the match was Deco.
