Save team

THROUGH the Barry & District News I appeal to the Vale Council to make an offer to Barry Town AFC, that will enable them to play at Jenner Park and at the same time allow the outstanding debt to be repaid.

As a long time critic of Stuart Lovering, this is not a plea on his behalf, but a plea from a football fan and sport lover.

A town the size of Barry demands a football team playing at the highest possible level, in what is at the moment the best football stadium in Wales - outside the Millennium and the English League; though it is already starting to deteriorate due to lack of care and maintenance.

Make Mr Lovering an offer and this will at least stop him blaming anybody and everybody, except himself for the decline and fall of a once great (and internationally known) club.
