Jonah's Power Within

INTERNATIONAL rugby star Jonah Lomu has a new tattoo - and he came to Barry to have it done!

He dropped into the Chameleon tattoo studio on High Street to have the words'Power Within' tattooed on his back.

Owner Lee Clements, 28, said: "He was very well behaved. He's had a lot of problems with his kidneys and said that pain was not a big issue.

"He was very very polite and there was none of the pretensions that you associate with celebrities. He was a nice fellow and very down to earth."

The New Zealander, who plays for Cardiff Blues, headed to the studio following a recommendation by fellow club player Lee Thomas, from Barry.

"It was quite a shock when he came in," added tattooist Lee, an international award-winning tattooist.

"The actual style of writing is something his friends had back in Auckland and they all wanted the same style.
