THE people who are objecting to the two Barry churches about to be sold (Barry and District News, March 9) "make by blood boil".

Churches, like houses, need care and repair and have to be insured, costing thousands of pounds annually.

If the people above mentioned, and their families, were to attend these churches regularly and put a few pounds in the collection each week, this situation would probably never have arisen.

Churches cannot finance themselves.
