I WOULD like to, through the Barry & District News, say a huge congratulations to all involved in Pukka Productions" latest production of the all-time classic West Side Story.

Even though I wasn"t able to attend due to my college and work commitments in London, I have it on good authority that the production was a complete success and that audiences enjoyed such a well presented and professional production!

West Side Story is the second musical from this company, which to my mind is fast on its way to becoming the best amateur company in Barry!

Following on from the stunning Jesus Christ Superstar, and under the direction of the amazing Sarah Benlican, the production proved to be a milestone for this company and all involved deserve hearty congratulations!

Well done Pukka Productions and long may you continue providing Barry and the Vale with first-class productions never before staged at the Memorial Hall Theatre!
