Tax rises
VALE of Glamorgan Council Tax rise is to be 5.5 percent - andthat is without the Police precept!
Inflation is currently at 2.5 percent.
No rise is to be above 4.5 percent in England.
Bridgend is to rise by 3.9 percent.
We, the council taxpayers of the Vale, demand an explanation for this, especially as the Vale has one of the highest levels of reserves in Wales.
Let us have the facts with no lame excuses.
