Eyesore flats

REGARDING the article in Barry & District News on February 9 about Colcot estate.

I have also contacted the council about St Michael"s garden flats as they are opposite my back garden. I didn"t get a satisfactory answer.

Why don"t the council sell them if they can"t rent them out? Although I can"t see why they can"t rent them as there are so many people on the housing list.

I was thinking about buying my house but not for the extortionate price the council wanted for it and with slums outside the back.

Please can something be done about them?
