Under-11s triumph after early setback

BARRY fencer Susan Dodd has been included in the Welsh team for this year's Youth Home Internationals in Scotland later this month.

It is the second year the 16-year-old Cardiff Fencing Club member has been a member of the squad, having taken part in last year's competition in Northern Ireland.

Susan will compete at foil for Wales in Edinburgh on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26.

Also in the team is Llantwit Major fencer James Harrington, who last month won the Welsh under-18 epee title.
