Great War Research

I am about to embark on research into the men of Barry who died whilst serving in the British Army during the Great War 1914-18 and who are commemorated on the walls of the foyer of Barry Memorial Hall.

I would be very interested to hear from any readers who are related to these men.

I hope to draw my research together into a publication on the War Service of these men, and if any readers are able to supply me with memories of these brave men I would be most grateful.

I would also be delighted to hear from anyone who has a similar interest in this field of study.

Both my grandfathers served in the Great War, as did my Great Uncle.
