I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank all your readers and NSPCC Cymru/Wales volunteers in Barry and the surrounding area for their hard work throughout 2005.

Whether its been by campaigning on our behalf, giving donations, fundraising, or simply taking the trouble to read our literature and articles in the Barry & District News, you have gone a long way to supporting our vital services across Wales.

So why not make it a New Year"s resolution to help the NSPCC in 2006 protect children in Wales by joining an existing group, setting up your own or organising a fundraising event like our Big Bike Ride being held in July this year.
