Bird threats

I HAVE just listened to an interview on Radio 4 when the expert speaker on Bird Flu stated that the chief source of the disease spreading across nations is due to migratory ducks which visit lakes, rivers and all such waterways.

Gosh!

What a surprise!

I wonder what he would say about the threat to Barrians who visit the Knap Lake where the walkways are plastered with aquatic bird excrement and feathers carried home on the feet of children.
